How to get started on Stockpile.

Creating a Wallet

A Solana wallet is required to use Stockpile. The most common wallet is Backpack. Other recommended wallets include Solflare, Glow and Phantom.

Wallets generally function as a browser extension, much like Ethereum's MetaMask. Start by generating a new wallet or importing a private key from elsewhere.

Once you've saved your seed phrase in a safe place, and your wallet is generated; we're ready to go!

Acquiring SOL

SOL is the default currency in which fundraisers are denominated. It is required for both creating fundraisers (network fees) and contributing to them.

The easiest ways to get SOL are to use services like Moonpay or exchanges like Kraken.

NOTE: A gasless fundraiser creation option is planned for the future, and will likely appear in later versions of the protocol.
